Pick out your gear from the Closet. You will see pictures of the type of gear we rent: The big stuff, Jackets, Bib/Pants, Gloves, and Boots. We have hundreds of styles and colors, choose the size you need and we match our inventory with the size that is just right for your Snow Bunny. Due to the flux of rental inventory, we do not offer the ability to choose your style or color- but if you have a specific request in mind, feel free to put it in the notes- if we have it, it’s yours! Remember, comfortable kids are our ultimate goal...dry kids make lasting memories, but so do wet ones.

Select the number of days, add it to your cart and it will prompt you to indicate the date of the FIRST day you are going to USE your clothes (not your pick-up day). Hit check out, and we will package up your goods based on your date of rental and choice of free pick up or local delivery. We will send you an additional confirmation to confirm delivery or pick-up time!

Pick up & Returns in East Sacramento

Pickups & Returns are easy inside our partner boutique, The Kitchen Table, located at 1462 33rd St. Sacramento, CA 95816.

Please note, we do not offer shipping at this time.

We will have your items ready for you no later than 3:00 the afternoon prior to your scheduled Snow Day. We will email you to confirm your pick-up is ready at The Kitchen Table!  Returns are due back by noon the day after your last paid Snow Day.

The Kitchen Table is open Mon - Wed 11 am - 6 pm, Thurs - Sat 11 am - 7 pm, and Sun 11 am - 5 pm.  If pick-ups/returns will be outside of these hours, we will provide you with an alternative pick-up/drop-off location in the East Sacramento neighborhood.

Do you offer discounts?

We do offer discounts on our Snow Bundles. The first day of rentals is $30,  $45 for the weekend and each additional day is $10/day.  Although the complete Snow Bundle is the best value, we also offer discounts for multiple day rentals on a la carte items- see those prices listed individually. 

If you have a large group of 10 or more, please email us and we can help you out with group pricing.

How do I know what size I need?

Sizing is fairly straight forward. We recommend going with your normal street clothes size. On your order, you will be prompted to fill in your typical size pants, please remember to include this, it is very helpful in ensuring we get you fit just right! If you need to exchange an item for any reason, we will work hard to get something to you as quickly as possible, as inventory allows. 

Will I be charged for the days I pick up and drop off?

There is no charge for your pick-up and drop-off days as long as you are not planning to use the rental clothing on those days. Pick ups are available after 3:00 the afternoon prior to your Snow Day.  We ask that all items be returned by noon following your Snow Day.  

What if I lose or damage one of my rental items?

Well, that’s a bummer for sure - keep a close eye on those pesky gloves, goggles, socks and hats! If it’s something we can repair like a frayed cuff or scratched goggle lenses, we’ll charge a repair fee. If the item is lost or we cannot rent it again, we charge the retail price of the item to replace our inventory.

Do you purchase snow clothes from individuals for your inventory?

We do! Each season we refresh our closet and add to our inventory where we need to.  If you have clothes in pristine condition, we may provide you with a "Bunny Hop" Voucher for snow gear in the next size up that can be used the current season or the following season. In some instances, we do pay cash for inventory. Feel free to email us at hello@snowdayrentals.com.

What if my plans change?

It happens.  We are happy to give a full refund for plans canceled, provided you notify us at least 3 days prior to your scheduled pickup day.  This gives us time to release the inventory and allow other customers to snatch it up.  Please note, there are certain high demand times that we require 7 day notification for refunds:  Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week, New Years Week, MLK weekend, and President's Week, including both 3 day weekends.  If plans change closer to your scheduled Snow Day, no problem--we are happy to give you Snow Credit and reschedule you for another Snow Day  when you're ready!  Just email us at hello@snowdayrentals.com as soon as you know you're plans are changing. Don’t worry, we'll work it out!

Why Rent?

Simply put, kids grow quickly and ski and snow gear can get expensive year after year- and the stores are likely sold out already. Unless you are a frequent visitor to the snow, rentals allow you to rent quality clothing, without the hassle of borrowing pieces from multiple sources, or paying for expensive clothing each year. Also, if storage of clothing is also a concern, renting from us can solve that challenge too! We help make your family trips to the snow, easy, fun and affordable.

Quality Matters.

Nothing is worse than a cold child on the mountain. Our snow gear is appropriate for hours of snow play! The Snow Day Team washes, cleans and inspects every item upon return to assure that it is restored to prime condition for deliver to our next customer. We take care of every garment like it's our own- cause it is! We will keep you and your little one bundled up and cozy- like a warm hug!

About Us.

Started by two moms, each with 3 (rapidly!) growing kids, all with a love of snow play! Every year, up until now, we worked to either purchase the next size up, scour stores for the best sales or borrow the next sizes needed (times 3 kids) for a few visits to the snow each year. 

Finally we got smart and launched Snow Day Rentals. We put all the sizes under one roof for easy and convenient access for us and all of our friends! We carry children's clothing starting at 12 months with toddler size 4 boots, all the way up through men’s XXL and men’s size 13 boots!

With way less to coordinate and an affordable option, every day can be a SNOW Day!
